Pandora RISC OS for all!!!
Die Installation erfolgt auf dem gleichen Weg wie das Slackware-Image von IngoReis oder
Achtung: Die linke Karte ist SDFS:0! Sollte rechts eine FAT formatierte stecken (SDFS::1) bitte Vorsicht. Fat32fs ist im Grundimage nicht dabei. Eine mehr als 2GB grosse Karte macht Probleme.
Installation nur mit der Pandora: English, see below!
1. Download des Images und speichern auf die SD Karte im linken Slot (der Nand ist zu klein).
2. Die Zielkarte für RISC OS in den rechten Slot.
4. Terminal öffnen
6. sudo gunzip -c /media/Datenträgername/Pfad/Image_Name.img.gz | sudo dd of=/dev/mmcblk1 (für die Karte im rechten Slot)
(Den Pfad zur Datei kann man sich z.B. in Thunar anzeigen lassen)
Achtung: Alle Daten auf der Zielkarte werden ohne Rückfrage überschrieben.
7. Password:****** [Enter] und nochmal : ******
(dauert etwas)
Hinweis: Wenn man kurz vorher als Sudoer schon einmal das Password engegeben hat, kann es sein, daß es nicht nocheinmal nötig ist. Ein Meldung gibt es nur im Fehlerfall oder wenn die Aktion beendet ist. Nur die LEDs blinken zur Orientierung.
Fertig... Eine Meldung wie diese sollte erscheinen: 1977614336 bytes (2.0GB) copied; 678.997s, 2,9MB/s
8. Shut Down
9. Linke Karte entfernen und die Rechte RISC OS Karte in den linken Slot stecken
10. EIN schalten und nichts tun... nach ca. 15s (Batch1) sollte ein funktionierender Desktop verfügbar sein
11. Kein RISC OS User? Die Kurzanleitung (pdf) öffnen.
12. Spass haben... hoffentlich.

How do I get the image to an SD card. Very simply and only with the Pandora.
1 Download the image and save to the SD card in the left slot (the NAND is too small).
2 The destination SD for RISC OS take to the right slot.
4 open Terminal
6 sudo gunzip-c /media/disk/path/Image_name.img.gz | sudo dd of = /dev/mmcblk1 (for the card in the right slot)
(The path to the file, you can look at eg Thunar)
Warning: All data on the target card will be overwritten without warning.
7. Password: ****** [Enter] and again: ******
(takes a while)
Note: If you have just previously stayed close as sudoer enter the password, it may be that it is not necessary once. A message appears only if an error occurs or when the action is completed. Only the LEDs for orientation.
Finished ...
A message like this should appear: 1977614336 bytes (2.0GB) copied, 678.997s, 2.9 MB / s
8. Shut Down
9. Remove the left card and plug the right RISC OS in the left slot
10. "Power on" and do nothing ... after about 15s (Batch1) a functioning desktop should be available
11. No RISC OS users? Open the Quick Start Guide (pdf).
12. Have fun ... hopefully.
